Remembrance Memorial Charitable Trust
An active act of remembering, dedicated to US Service members who have lost their lives in Iraq & Afghanistan, as well as those who continue to serve.
The Remembrance Memorial Charitable Trust was founded August 15, 2007. The mission of Remembrance is to engage communities in a shared art-making process that honors and acknowledges the sacrifices of U.S. Service men and women who have lost their lives while serving in the current wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, as well as to those who continue to serve.
It is the hopes of the Board of Trustees and the thousands who have brought their time, energy, financial support, and love to this very special living memorial that all U.S. Service members who have lost their lives in Iraq and Afghanistan will not be forgotten. This is a national issue and although the event is held in New England, we hope you join us from wherever you are in this act of remembering.
We are grateful for your interest and hope that with your support the walk will be a success. The continuance of Remembrance depends entirely upon people like you. Rest assured that all monies raised go directly to the upkeep of Remembrance, as well as to pay travel expenses to and from exhibit sites, and to purchase new display cases to house recent casualties. We will also be starting the Remembrance Fund. This will allow us to identify and help military families in need of financial assistance.
